COMBINED ENDEAVOR 2011

From 9 to 22 September, Communications and Information Technology workshops COMBINED ENDEAVOR 2011 were held at the U.S. base in Grafenwoehr, Germany. The exercises confirmed the interoperability capabilities of the Battlefield Management System (BMS) “HEKTOR.” The system successfully completed a series of tests, confirming its readiness to cooperate with other coalition states’ systems (NATO) and PfP (Partnership for Peace) countries. COMBINED ENDEAVOR is the largest and most comprehensive interoperability exercise for communications and information technology forces in the world. About 1,400 specialists participated from NATO and PfP countries, along with representatives from civilian companies.
