Project Title: "Teleinformatics module for supporting the identification of victims of disasters and terrorist attacks"

The project is co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development under the programme concerning the defence and security of the state under competition no. 10/2019, by a consortium consisting of:

- Military University of Technology (WAT) - consortium leader

- KenBIT Koenig i Wspólnicy Sp. j.

The aim of the project is to ensure effective and rapid identification of victims of disasters or terrorist attacks by improving the operations of services at all stages of proceedings with human corpses and remains.

The result of the project will be:

- a comprehensive tool for the recovery and documentation of human corpses and their fragments in accordance with Interpol international standards

- a tool for supervision/circulation of human corpses and their fragments

- an electronic system for entering post-mortem data of bodies and their fragments

- into forms compliant with Interpol guidelines

- a collection of algorithms for searching, comparing and merging post-mortem (PM) and ante-mortem (AM) data

- integration of the created tools into a single module

- results of system testing in operational conditions close to real

- technical and training documentation covering all functionalities

The project is implemented in the period from 2019 to 2022.

Total project implementation cost: PLN 6,901,500.00, co-financing value: PLN 6,211,500.00
