Tactical Radio Access Single-channel Subsystem
The Radio Coupling Block (BSR) is a specialized vehicle computer (an integrator) that provides a fully automated interface between radio networks and wired STORCZYK systems, public analog systems, and ISDN, as well as H.323 signaling-based systems (VoIP). The BSR can be connected to, among other things, 1 to 3 VHF/HF radio stations, each of which supports a separate radio network.
The VHF/HF BSR is a device intended for integration and provision of telecommunications services with the automated VHF radio communications system, the STORCZYK radio-line-and-wire communications system, the VHF/HF radio-access subsystem, and the secondary packet network. It provides voice communications and data transmission over the VHF/HF channels at all command echelons of the Polish Armed Forces (SZ RP), and with SZ RP units and subunits carrying out international missions outside the borders of the Republic of Poland.
