Mobile Work Post 2
The WSP-1 Remote Workstation is an external communication terminal enabling the organisation of a temporary command post (workstation) for the commander after leaving the vehicle (up to 2 km). It is possible both to connect the terminal to the LAN of the Field Command Post and to organise an autonomous command post outside the vehicle to increase the commander's safety in the event of his radio means being located by the enemy.
The workstation ensures continuity of the commander's work in existing command relationships, including radio, using the vehicle's communication infrastructure. Via the WSP-1, the commander can work in the BMS system (from a connected computer).
The WSP-1 provides wired voice communication and IP data exchange with the base vehicle, and through it with the entire system environment. It implements intercom functions, enables connections to STORCZYK system exchanges, VHF and HF radio stations and VoIP subscribers. The Remote Workstation integrates the functions of the KenTEL-1 Multifunctional Telephone and the MD-1 Long-Range Modem. Furthermore, it provides autonomous (battery) power supply for devices. Thanks to its compact construction, the device is easy to prepare for operation and use.
