The purpose of this year’s exercise was to define the direction of technology development, test and verify the implemented solutions to ensure interoperability of teleinformation systems in a coalition environment classified as SECRET, with particular emphasis on new technologies and system-and-software solutions. This year’s exercises were conducted based on the structure of the NATO Joint Forces Training Centre (JFTC) in Bydgoszcz and took place from 30 May to 16 June 2011.  

Representatives from NATO commands (ACT, ACO, JFC Brunssum), NC3A, JFTC, and from the following countries participated: Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Sweden, and the United States. In addition, NATO commands and agencies and the armed forces of Alliance member states were involved in the workshops, supported by civilian companies (teleinformation solution manufacturers).  

The participation of representatives from individual countries enables verification of the designed and implemented technical and software solutions in terms of implementing solutions in accordance with the standards adopted in the Alliance, taking into account the assumptions of network-centricity.
