During the conference, Dariusz Koenig, Chairman of the Management Board, presented KenBIT’s proposal regarding the company’s capabilities and potential participation in the Polish Navy’s Technical Modernization Programme. Among other things, our offer was presented for the delivery of the NEPTUN Integrated Communications System for Polish Navy vessels, designed and fully built by the KenBIT branch in Gdynia. The NEPTUN system creates a unified platform integrating all onboard communications means (radio, wired, and satellite), voice encryption devices, cryptographic equipment, and teleinformatics networks—providing communications both in national and allied networks. The KenBIT integrated communications system is currently being installed on the Kormoran II project vessel. The NEPTUN system is a configurable system with a variable structure, which makes it easy to tailor to the needs of different types of Polish Navy ships. The KenBIT Integrated Communications System offered for navy vessels aligns with the strategy of the Polish state regarding the use and involvement of our national defence industry, thereby safeguarding Poland’s interests in the process of ensuring security and controlling deliveries.
