MPC – preparatory meeting before CWIX 2011.

The MPC conference was a working meeting organized in Slagelse, Denmark; during it, the first arrangements were made regarding the participation of countries and organizations invited to take part in the CWIX 2011 exercises.

During the conference, the exercise plan was established, including the organization of the exercise combat structures and the overall course of the scenario that would serve as the basis for the workshops. The next—this time final—conference will take place at the end of March 2011 at JFTC in Bydgoszcz.

The CWIX 2011 exercises (Combined Warrior Interoperability eXercise) will be conducted at JFTC in Bydgoszcz from 30 May to 17 June 2011. During the exercises, broad cooperation between the participating countries’ information systems will be tested, mainly in terms of exchanging documents and operational data.

Organizers place particular emphasis on data exchange in accordance with the MIP standard in Block 2 and 3, and on the development of systems capable of presenting integrated battlefield information. KenBIT will take part in the CWIX exercises for the first time in its history, although it previously went through its first interoperability workshop while testing a new version of the BMS system during the Combined Endeavor 2010 exercises.
