Representatives of the following institutions responsible for shaping and organising medical support submitted applications to take part in the seminar: the Department of the Military Health Service, the Logistics Directorate P4 of the Polish Land Forces General Staff, the Military Health Service Directorate of the General RSZ, the Inspectorate for Support of the Armed Forces, as well as representatives of the following units: the 6th Military Hospital, the 1st Military Clinical Hospital with a Polyclinic in Lublin (branch in Ełk), and the Centre for Pharmacy and Medical Technology. Representatives of the Mazowieckie Regional Branch of the National Health Fund (NFZ) also attended, along with the project supervisor on behalf of the National Centre for Research and Development.

The visiting guests were welcomed by the Director of the Institute for Support and Security of Operations, Col. dr hab. Eng. Krzysztof Wysocki, and the President of KenBIT Sp. z o.o., Mr Dariusz Koenig.

As part of Panel 1 presentations, the Project Manager, Mr Eng. Jarosław Wojciechowski, provided general information about the “Medical Evacuation Module MEWA MED” project, followed by Lt. Col. Dr Zdzisław Malinowski from the Military Academy of Artillery, who presented the results of an analysis of the operational and tactical conditions of the medical support subsystem. In the next presentation, the project manager outlined the concept for building the MEWA MED Medical Evacuation Module based on the capabilities that the designed system will support. In the final presentation, a representative of WIM, Mr Szymon Rokicki, presented guidelines for the system supporting medical activities and evacuation of casualties from the battlefield.

After the coffee break, Panel 2 moderator Lt. Col. Dr Eng. Zdzisław Malinowski gave the floor to Mr Dominik Dębiński from AMZ-Kutno, who outlined the challenges and requirements placed on the base carrier. Next, the developed MEWA MED software project was discussed, serving as the primary tool supporting command and control processes. In a presentation, the KenBIT IT Director, Mr Eng. Damian KACPROWICZ, presented conclusions from tests carried out as part of the NATO exercise CWIX 2022. The last of the planned presentations was delivered by Eng. Mariusz Pułas from Pelixar S.A., who presented the concept of using drone technologies to conduct medical reconnaissance, deliver medical resources directly to the battlefield, and evacuate (transport) casualties.
